Clients are often surprised when they find out that we represent parties at residential house closings.  Often seen as a simple process, proper review of documents is an important aspect of even a simple house closing.  Loan documents, settlement statement, and disclosure affidavits are only a few of the seemingly endless documents which need to be reviewed and interpreted before execution.

Still, our real estate practice takes us far and wide beyond a basic residential sale or purchase.  Helping to put a client’s thoughts and ideas with regard to a piece of property in line with the legal requirements of a commercial or residential development often involves several different governing agents and local, state and federal regulation.

Sometimes real estate issues coincide and merge with other areas of the law, including estate planning and taxation.  We have experience in helping to structure property gifting plans, including the Qualified Personal Residence Trust, in order to leverage a person’s gifting ability.

Our vast experience, understanding and knowledge in real estate is used to benefit the interests of our clients.
